Going to the Village Of The Future by boat

One day I went sailing with my three friends on the Atlantic Ocean.
Just then a storm arose. The sea began to get rougher and ROUGHER! We were petrified. Suddenly a crowd of dolphins jumped out of the ocean. A wise old dolphin called Quickfin led us to the middle of the Atlantic Ocean out of the storm.
He said "Where do you want to go now?"
Then a seagull came down and started to nipping our hair. |
Un jour je suis allé faire du bateau avec mes trois amis
sur l'Océan Atlantique.
Juste à ce moment-là une tempête se leva. La mer devint de plus en plus AGITÉE! Nous étions transis par la peur. Tout a coup, une foule de dauphins surgit de l'océan. Un vieux dauphin, un sage, appelé Quickfin (Preste Nageoire) nous conduisit en sureté au milieu de l'Océan Atlantique loin de la tempête. "Où voulez-vous aller maintenant?" dit-il. "Mais où sommes-nous de toutes façons?" Lui avons-nous demandé
Puis une mouette arriva et commença à
nous tirer les cheveux. |

"Quickfin, how did you get your name?" "Because I am a wise Dolphin and I can say all my time tables, like 11 * 9 = 99 and 12 * 12 = 144!" "Gosh! You're clever!" "Quickfin do you know where the Village Of The Future is?" "It's my favourite place, You have to turn right, then forward, then jump off the plank and you're there! Dive down into the water until you come to another world." "What's the village of the future like?" "It's usually sunny, has lots of boats, sells ice cream cakes and lollies and has an extremely big sports hall. It's got the Internet, a fantastic library. It has a huge sign saying 'Welcome To Our Village', a huge airport and a recycling plant. There's a harbour where we keep our boats." "It sounds better than going to the moon! We can't wait to get there!" |
"Quickfin, D'où te vient ton nom?" "Parce que je suis un sage et un savant et je peux dire toutes mes table de multiplication, par exemple 11 * 9 = 99 et 12 * 12 = 144!" "Waou! Tu es vraiment intelligent!" "Quickfin sais-tu où se trouve le Village Du futur?" "C'est mon endroit préferré Il faut tourner à droite, puis tout droit en suite il faut sauter dans l'eau et vous y êtes! Plongez sous l'eau jusqu'à ce que vous arriviez dans un autre monde." "Et comment il est le Village Du Futur?" "Il y fait en général soleil, il y a plein de bateaux, on y vend des gateaux aux glaces, des lollies et il y a une très très grande salle de sport. Il y a l'Internet, une bibliothèque fantastique. Il y a un panneau géant qui dit 'Bienvenu Dans Notre Village', il y a aussi un énorme aéroport et un centre de recyclage. Il y a une baie ou l'on met ses bateaux." "Ca a l'air mieux que d'aller sur la lune! Nous sommes si impatients d'arriver!" |

After a while we had met a lot of people and settled in but we missed our friends at school. They wrote to us using an E-mail so we kept in contact. Eventually we got fed up and missed our family and friends so Quickfin led us back to our home. By Michaela, Sally, Jason, Luke, George and Toby. |

plein de gens et pris nos habitudes mais nos amis de l'école
